 Dr. Shannon Sinsheimer is a state licensed Naturopathic Doctor with

a private practice in Palm Desert, California and one of California's

leading experts in naturopathic medicine. Dr. Sinsheimer

earned her doctorate from National College of Naturopathic

Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon.  In addition to her degree in

naturopathic medicine, she was awarded the Certificate of Advanced

Course Study in Homeopathy and Honors in Research. Her

treatment plans focus on creating a path towards optimal wellness

for each patient individually. Dr. Sinsheimer treats a wide range of

conditions primarily using lifestyle counseling, diet modification,

nutritional supplementation, homeopathy, and botanicals. She treats

patients of all age ranges, including children. 

In conjunction with her education at NCNM, she spent three months

in rigorous course and clinical homeopathy training with renowned

physicians at Homeopathic Medical College, Mumbai, India. She has

received additional advanced course and clinical mentorship from

Will Taylor, M.D., international homeopathy lecturer. While under

the direction of Lynne Shinto, N.D. at Oregon Health and Science

University’s ORCCA Mind Research Center, she assisted in clinical

trials of the efficacy of naturopathic treatment protocol for patients

diagnosed with neurological conditions. At Center for Natural

Medicine she completed a one-year internship specializing in

cardio-pulmonary wellness and endocrine disorders.

Dr. Sinsheimer recently conceptualized and initiated the first ever

television series of its type on naturopathic medicine. The 7 part

series premiered on PBS in Southern California this spring. The

series will air nationwide over the course of the next 2 years. Dr.

Sinsheimer served as production coordinator, as well as interviewee.

In the series she presented information on chronic illness with the

help of one of her exceptional patients.
